Pure passion

Riad Sakkan was born out of a passion for travel, gastronomy, art and architecture. It was the dream of the Belgian owners to one day open their own hotel and bring all of this together under one roof. When the old traditional Moroccan house in the medina became available, they immediately seized their chance and turned it into a palace, along with designer Willem Smit, who carefully restored the riad and decorated it enchantingly.
