In winter, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful ski regions lies right on the doorstep. From Wengen you can ski towards Kleine Scheidegg, where the slopes stretch towards Grindelwald and the Jungfrau massif. The ski areas around Mürren–Schilthorn and Grindelwald First are also easily accessible and offer an impressive variety of pistes and alpine panoramas.

In summer, the region transforms into a paradise for hikers. Panoramic trails lead through alpine meadows, past mountain lakes and traditional huts, while mountain trains effortlessly bring you to spectacular viewpoints. From here the famous train to the Jungfraujoch departs, taking you to more than 3,400 metres above sea level, surrounded by glaciers and eternal snow.
