Idyllically located design hotel with sea view, spa, outdoor pool, and gourmet restaurant
On the west side of the Portuguese coast, about an hour's drive from Lisbon, you will find the region and the village of Ericeira. The heart of surf lovers will surely beat faster here, as the golden beaches and the blue sea offer perfect surfing opportunities. Lovers of cosy fishing villages, nature, and tranquility have also come to the right place. Just above the village of Ericeira is Immerso Hotel, where you are immersed in an exclusive experience and enjoy breathtaking sea views.
At the luxurious design hotel Immerso, everything revolves around nature and its beauty. The passion for hospitality, sustainability, and mindfulness also makes this place an unforgettable getaway. Every detail has been thought of, and once you enter, it feels as if time stands still. The stress of daily life immediately fades into the background and before long you will forget to even check what time it is. The surrounding nature, fresh air and sea view allows you to truly live in the moment.
The rooms and suites of Immerso Hotel are light and spacious, with a lot of use of natural materials. The soft beds ensure a wonderful night's sleep and all have a balcony or terrace; the perfect place to relax. You can also achieve the ultimate relaxation feeling at the clear blue outdoor pool. For dinner, you can visit restaurant Emme, where you can enjoy the surprising dishes of chef Alexandre Silva every day. The ingredients are pure and locally produced, and the dishes themselves are a mix of tradition and creativity. The bar staff make the tastiest signature cocktails, for the perfect start or end to your dinner. The second restaurant, Emme on Fire, revolves around inspiring dishes from above the fire, such as crispy pizzas from the wood oven. Take a seat at the long table or around the campfire and enjoy a unique experience.

Beautiful (surf) beaches in the vicinity are for example Praia Calada, Praia dos Pecadores, Praia de Sul, and Praia de São Lourenço.
Nature and sustainability
Due to its location in Ericeira, Europe's first World Surfing Reserve, Immerso is surrounded by nature. A green valley, stunning sea views, fresh air, and various flora and fauna. The architect Tiago Silva Dias took into account the surroundings when designing the building, allowing it to integrate into nature as much as possible. Sustainability issues, such as adapting to the local climate and energy efficiency, were also vital in the development. All of this is inspired by the principles of southern Iberian architecture, with as minimal an impact on nature as possible. The landscape architecture by Margarida Quelhas was also thought out in the same lines. Everything is set up in such a way that it respects the surrounding nature and you will find mainly local plants there. The organic garden hosts all kinds of herbs, fruits, and vegetables that are used in the restaurant. In addition, the rooms and public spaces feature pieces of furniture from local partners and designers in an effort to support the local industry.
A hotel with modern facilities and sea views
In the rooms and suites of Immerso hotel, you will find a perfect balance between comfort and simplicity, always with the surrounding nature for inspiration. Thus, there are light, soothing colors, wooden details, green tiled bathrooms and of course, nice facilities such as rain showers, bathtubs and soft bathrobes. All rooms have a view of the garden, the pool or the sea. Almost all also have a balcony or terrace with a seat, to enjoy the first or last rays of the day.
Culinary delight at restaurant Emme
At Immerso Hotel, regional and seasonal recipes are cherished, and this is reflected in the works of art that chef Alexandre Silva conjures up on the plates every evening. He gives his own modern twist to it and works with flavors and textures that continuously surprise. You can taste a lot from their own garden, and thanks to the fine atmosphere, you can spend hours there. Finish your dinner with a special, homemade cocktail, and your evening is complete! Also, if you feel like having a relaxed evening by the campfire, you are at the right address at Immerso, because at Emme on Fire, you can enjoy everything made over the fire, such as crispy pizzas or various surprising dishes.
