Charming bed & breakfast in the middle of the nature of the Maremma region
Feeling like getting away to the sun? Looking for a calm, romantic getaway with your loved one? Then discover Casale Sterpeti. This contemporary bed and breakfast in the Tuscan countryside is a place you never want to leave. Even if it’s just for the fantastic local dishes that you can join in on every day, the tranquillity and the enchanting view of the rolling landscape. Life here is beautiful, very beautiful!
The moment you traverse the winding country roads and park your car next to the rustic country house, all you can do is stare around to absorb all the beauty. The landscape is breathtaking and everything about this unique bed and breakfast seems to be right: from the lush garden filled with olive trees and cypresses to the beautiful, modern interior and cosy seating areas scattered around.
A holiday in this unique House of Hideaways accommodation is entirely about relaxation. You can start the morning with a homemade breakfast and a walk across the estate. In the afternoon, you take a nap on one of the sun loungers in the garden or take a bike ride to picturesque villages nearby. The light and tastefully decorated rooms also offer plenty of facilities to recharge your batteries: spacious beds with ultra-soft bedding, an ensuite bathroom with a pleasant rain shower and a priceless view that you wake up and go to bed with every day.
Casale Sterpeti is an oasis of peace. Far away from the crowd and the hectic everyday life. When you're there, on the terrace, with a good glass of Italian wine and a view of all that beauty, you won't want anything else. Yet, this special bed and breakfast is an excellent starting point for all kinds of fun trips. You can go to the beach, to one of the many vineyards in the region or to the beautiful Italian capital Rome. Do you prefer to stay closer to home? Then you can enjoy a walk in the surroundings and settle down with a picnic basket prepared by the friendly owners at a beautiful spot.
A 5-minute drive from this special bed and breakfast is Magliano. A picturesque medieval village that was built on a hill and is surrounded by a city wall and olive groves. As you stroll through the center, you can marvel at historical treasures from the Etruscan-Roman period. If you walk over the footbridge of the city wall, you will have a view of the rolling landscape and the sea. Basically, everywhere you look is beautiful, phenomenally beautiful; so keep your camera ready!
Rooms with a view
Light, comfortable and designed with an eye for the surroundings. In the beautiful rooms of this House of Hideaways accommodation, you can stay excellently and feel almost one with nature! This is especially due to the large windows that offer a view of the magical landscape, but also due to the extensive use of wood. In Casale Sterpeti, you can choose between 2 types of rooms: the comfort rooms with direct access to the garden and the more spacious superior rooms. Whichever you choose, all rooms have fresh flowers, a bottle of mineral water, an ensuite bathroom with a nice rain shower and air conditioning for humid Italian evenings.
It can't get fresher than this.
You don't have to leave your door for good food. Every morning, a homemade breakfast is prepared with love, and in the evening you can join for an intimate candlelit dinner. Everything is freshly prepared with ingredients from the surroundings. From the wines and cheeses to the cakes and breads. But what else would you want, with the Tuscan landscape as your backyard?
Ideal base of operations
From Casale Serpeti, you can undertake numerous activities. You can visit beautiful cities and authentic villages, such as Grosseto, Follonica, Orbetello, and Piombino, spend an afternoon picnicking on the estate, and visit one of the many vineyards in the surrounding area. But.. a day trip to the Italian capital, Rome, is also possible. As well as a day at the beach. Can't decide? Then ask the owners for advice, as they know the best (undiscovered) spots in the area.
The nearest airports are Pisa and Florence, which are located approximately 175 km away. It is also possible to fly via Rome. From there, you can take a taxi or rent a car to the accommodation.
From Amsterdam, it's about a 15 hour drive to the accommodation. Parking at the accommodation is available without any additional costs. There is also a disabled parking space and a charging point for electric vehicles.
